North American International is a small publishing house that began in Washington, D.C. in 1969 as a publisher of college textbooks and works on history and international relations. But it has recently moved to the mountains and begun a transformation into a house specializing in children's books and poetry. "Ernie the Easter Hippopotamus" is it's first picture book for children.
